Gerald Vanenburg announces final Indonesia U-23 squad for ASEAN Cup

According to Bolasport.com, Indonesia U-23 national team coach Gerald Vanenburg has announced the final squad for ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 — the team composition is dominated by senior players.

From 23 selected players, only two players are under 20 years old — Alfharezzi Buffon from Borneo FC and Jens Raven from Bali United are the youngest in the squad.

Althaf Indie from Persis Solo becomes the oldest player in the squad — followed by Persib Bandung defender Kakang Rudianto in second place.

Several wonderkids were not included in the final list, including:
