Gerald Vanenburg announces 30 players for Indonesia U-23 ASEAN Cup squad

Gerald Vanenburg — Indonesia U-23 national team coach — has announced a list of 30 players who will strengthen the Young Garuda squad at the 2025 ASEAN Cup U-23.

This biennial tournament will be held at two different venues — Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium Jakarta and Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium Bekasi — in mid-July.

In the player selection process, Vanenburg conducted direct observations at various Liga 1 clubs with his coaching staff to ensure the quality of each called-up player.

The Young Garuda squad will start their training camp in Jakarta — beginning in three days until the day before the tournament rolls out.

“We will perform at our maximum in the ASEAN Cup,” Vanenburg promised after announcing the player list.
