Genoa Approaches Jay Idzes, Negotiations with Venezia Ongoing

According to Tutto Venezia Sport, Jay Idzes — the Venezia defender contracted until 2027 — has become Genoa’s primary target in this summer’s transfer window.

The Indonesian national team player’s move to Liguria appears more likely — thanks to the presence of Mikael Ellertsson who has already joined Genoa this summer.

“Genoa is trying to find the right deal for Jay Idzes, who could potentially be brought to Liguria,” the media stated.

Il Grifone has reached personal terms with the player and his agent — but the transfer process remains hindered by valuation differences between both clubs.
