Gen.G Valorant ace Ha “Ash” Hyun-cheol recently shared his excitement about qualifying for the upcoming Masters Toronto and expressed his eagerness to compete against MIBR, who will also be attending the event.

Despite the defeat at the grand finale of VCT Pacific 2025: Stage 1 against RRQ days ago, Gen.G had already secured their spot at Masters Toronto by defeating Boom Esports in an earlier bracket. They will soon begin their run in the Swiss Stage.

While this result may disappoint fans who believed Gen.G had the potential to qualify directly for the playoffs, the team remains unfazed. The players are thrilled for the opportunity to test their skills against elite teams in the Swiss Stage.

During the VCT Pacific 2025 Q&A session, Ash even confidently stated his desire to face MIBR, particularly citing their star player Erick “aspas” Santos, a consistently dominant force in VCT Americas.

I’d like to face aspas from MIBR because I think he’s the best shooter in the region,” Ash remarked.

Undoubtedly, aspas remains a fan-favorite in VCT, given his remarkable stats and reputation for clutch performances. Though this marks MIBR’s Masters circuit debut, Aspas’ experience and tactical prowess are expected to play a key role in countering opponents’ strategies.
