Gary Rowett ready to lead Oxford United against Liga Indonesia All Star

Gary Rowett, Oxford United’s manager, shows high enthusiasm ahead of his team’s participation in the 2025 President’s Cup — a tournament featuring six teams from different countries.

The competition format divides participants into two groups:

• Group A: Oxford United, Arema FC, Liga Indonesia All Star
• Group B: Port FC, Persib Bandung, Dewa United

The opening match will pit Oxford United against Liga Indonesia All Star at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta.

“It feels very good for us to be in Indonesia, very interesting to be part of this tournament,” stated Rowett during a press conference at SUGBK.

“The players are very excited to play tomorrow at GBK,” he added.
