Oxford United manager Gary Rowett has indicated the possibility of a loan move for Marselino Ferdinan next season — a step aimed at providing the young Indonesian player with more playing opportunities.

Oxford United is currently in Indonesia participating in the 2025 President’s Cup tournament — the team will face Liga Indonesia All Star at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium on Sunday.

Marselino Ferdinan and Ole Romeny, two Indonesian national team players who joined the club last season, will feature with the team at SUGBK. However, Marselino — who joined the Championship club about 11 months ago — has only made two appearances with the first team.
