Galih Dimuntur Kartasasmita officially leads PBPI for 2024-2028 period

The Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) has officially inaugurated the new management of the Indonesian Padel Association (PBPI) in Senayan, Central Jakarta — with Galih Dimuntur Kartasasmita elected as Chairman for the 2024-2028 period.

KONI Chairman Marciano Norman stated that padel sport development in Indonesia shows a positive trend — marked by the emergence of various clubs and communities in the past year, including its debut as an exhibition sport at PON XXI Aceh-Sumut.

“I hope the PBPI Chairman and his management can properly organize padel development, which continues to expand to provinces across Indonesia”

“Then develop athlete achievements through numerous competitions they organize, both at national and provincial levels such as districts and cities”

KONI plans to include padel as one of the official sports in various upcoming events — with hopes of producing national athletes who can bring honor to Indonesia in international competitions.
