Gali Freitas Officially Leaves PSIS Semarang

Gali Freitas has officially announced his departure from PSIS Semarang through an Instagram post on Monday (May 26, 2025). The Timor Leste forward referred to PSIS as the biggest club in Central Java with a rich history in Indonesian football.

He expressed deep gratitude to Yoyok Sukawi, the club management, and his agency Ressy Enterprise Agency for trusting him during his two-year journey with PSIS Semarang.

“I gave my heart and soul to this city and this club. Semarang has become my home,” wrote Gali Freitas.

The 26-year-old also thanked supporters Panser Biru, Snex, and the big family of PSIS Semarang, while hoping the club will bounce back to Liga 1 after being relegated to Liga 2 for the 2025/26 season.

PSIS Semarang were relegated along with PSS Sleman and Barito Putera after the 2024/25 Liga 1 season.
