Galatasaray Target Manchester City Midfielder Ilkay Gündogan

According to ESPN sources, Galatasaray is monitoring Ilkay Gündogan‘s situation at Manchester City — the Turkish club stands ready to make an offer if the midfielder becomes available during the summer transfer window.

Despite his contract at City running until 2026, Gündogan’s position faces stiff competition following Tijjani Reijnders’ arrival from AC Milan and Rodri’s return from injury. Internal sources indicate that Galatasaray management is confident the Turkish-descended player would choose Istanbul as his next destination.

Gündogan — who captained City to their treble triumph two years ago — is now excluded from the team’s leadership group consisting of:
