Gabriel Magalhães denies Saudi Arabia transfer offers

According to Arsenal.com, center-back Gabriel Magalhães has denied receiving offers from Saudi Pro League clubs and revealed the reasoning behind extending his Arsenal contract until 2029.

“I didn’t receive any offers personally. People like to make up stories on the internet. I’m focused on Arsenal — that’s why I signed this contract,” stated Gabriel.

“I’ve been at this club for five years and seen how much it has grown. I’m here to win major titles and believe this season will be different. We’ve come close to winning several titles recently, but I’m confident this year will be different.”

The Brazilian defender has recovered from a hamstring injury suffered three months ago. He is currently participating in Arsenal’s Asia preseason tour — where the team will face AC Milan and Newcastle United in Singapore, followed by Tottenham Hotspur in Hong Kong.

Arsenal has been active in the transfer market, signing new players including Martín Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Christian Nørgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga — while discussions continue for the transfers of Viktor Gyökeres and Cristhian Mosquera.
