Frenkie de Jong has shown remarkable commitment to Barcelona by choosing to stay at the club despite facing salary reductions.

The Dutch midfielder, who joined from Ajax Amsterdam about six years ago, has made 258 appearances for the Catalan side — despite going through difficult times due to injuries.

Although he faced criticism from supporters and the club management once considered letting him go, De Jong decided to prove his quality at Camp Nou.
