Franco Morbidelli Gets Full Support from Ducati

Franco Morbidelli, a senior protégé of Valentino Rossi, is receiving full backing from Ducati — including access to Marc Marquez’s data.

The Italian-Brazilian rider has shown promising form with the VR46 Racing Team, Ducati’s satellite team owned by Valentino Rossi, in the opening six rounds of the season.

Teamed with Fabio Di Giannantonio, Morbidelli has already claimed two podiums in main races and one in a sprint, placing him fourth in the current standings with 85 points.

Ahead of the British MotoGP at Silverstone Circuit, Morbidelli admits he’s in the best form of his recent career — despite a lackluster result at the French GP two weeks ago.

The VR46 Racing Team rider hopes to enjoy every session with his crew at Silverstone — working closely together to achieve the best possible outcome.
