Franco Morbidelli: Ducati Collaboration Boosts VR46 Team

Franco Morbidelli revealed that the collaboration with Ducati and Valentino Rossi in the Pertamina Enduro VR46 team has had a positive impact on their performance in MotoGP 2025.

Led by the MotoGP legend, the team currently sits third in the constructors’ standings after six rounds — with both riders consistently in the top five of the riders’ championship.

Riding a last year’s Ducati specification bike, Morbidelli ended his podium drought that lasted since 2021. The senior graduate of the VR46 Academy delivered impressive results with podium finishes in Argentina and Qatar.

“I am having a very enjoyable time with the team. We enjoy every race and the teamwork — this is reflected in the results we have achieved,” Morbidelli said.

The Italian rider now has 86 points in fourth place in the standings, while teammate Fabio Di Giannantonio has collected 74 points.
