Francesco Camarda Set to Join Lecce on Loan from AC Milan

AC Milan wonderkid Francesco Camarda is one step away from joining Lecce after being spotted in Salento to complete his transfer. The 17-year-old striker is scheduled to undergo medical tests before finalizing the loan agreement.

Last season, Camarda made 35 appearances for Rossoneri — including 10 matches in Serie A and 4 games in Champions League. The loan deal will include a permanent purchase option for Lecce, while Milan retains a buyback clause.

“The news is true, there were queues of clubs wanting Camarda,” revealed Lecce President Saverio Sticchi Damiani. “However, the boy came here — a sign of very good relations between the 2 clubs and 2 sports directors.”
