Four Liga 1 clubs still hunting for coaches ahead of new season

Ahead of the Liga 1 2025/2026 competition, four clubs still remain without head coaches — a situation drawing attention as the new season approaches.

Arema FC currently relies on a local coach to lead team training sessions, while Persis Solo recently lost Ong Kim Swee who chose to join Persik Kediri — however, the Solo-based club has hinted at bringing in a Dutch coach.

• Malut United has terminated cooperation with Imran Nahumarury due to serious violations and plans to seek a replacement from local coaching ranks
• PSBS Biak has yet to provide information regarding their search for a new coach

Although several clubs have begun pre-season training, these four teams are still in the process of finding suitable candidates for their head coach positions.
