Four Indonesian representatives will begin their journey on the second day of Canada Open 2025 taking place at Markham Pan Am Centre, Ontario.

Due to the 11-hour time difference between Indonesia and Canada — the players will start their matches on Thursday (3/7/2025) Indonesian time.

Zachariah Josiahno Sumanti playing alongside Catherine Choi from Canada will face Brazilian pair Fabricio Farias/Jaqueline Lima in the first round — the former PBSI national training camp member was relegated in 2023.

Gabriel Christopher Wintan Wijaya with Serena Kani will meet Danish pair Kristoffer Kolding/Mette Werge — both are children of Indonesian badminton legends, Candra Wijaya and Denny Kantono.

Rian Agung Saputro partnering with Gabriel Christopher advanced to the main draw after passing through the qualification round.
