Former Evos Captain Slams His Old Team Over Disappointing Season

Former Evos captain Gustian “Rekt” recently criticized his old team’s poor performance after they failed to maintain consistency and missed the MPL ID Season 15 playoffs.

Despite a strong start in the first half of the Regular Season, Evos surprisingly declined in the second half, dropping into the elimination zone. The Blue Tigers ultimately finished seventh, joining Navi and Dewa Esports in missing the playoffs.

This result led passionate Evos fans to blame team management, claiming they failed to create a supportive environment for optimal play. However, Rekt rejected this view, stating that match performance is solely the responsibility of the players and coach.

“The Evos players are good, but the management is lacking? Why blame management, guys? Management doesn’t understand gameplay. Blaming management is ridiculous,” he said during a livestream.

Rekt, now part of Alter Ego’s coaching staff, also stressed that the players and coach must resolve their synergy issues quickly to avoid continuing this bad trend into Season 16. Given their recent decisions, it seems Evos is preparing for major changes, starting with the coaching team.
