Five Indonesian National Team Players Currently Without Clubs

The Indonesian national team faces a unique situation — five of its players are currently without clubs. Before last week’s match against Japan, only four players were uncontracted to any club.

Shayne Pattynama became the latest player to lose his club after parting ways with KAS Eupen from the Dutch League. Despite having one season left on his contract, both parties agreed to terminate the cooperation early.

“Shayne Pattynama leaves KAS Eupen. KAS Eupen and Shayne Pattynama have agreed to terminate their contract,” stated the club’s official Instagram announcement.

The other four players who remain free agents are:

  • Thom Haye who separated from Almere City about a month ago
  • Rafael Struick
  • Justin Hubner
