Prediksi Finlandia vs Polandia di Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 (11.06.2025)

On Tuesday, June 11, at 01:45 WIB, at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium, the Finland national team will host Poland in a Group G European qualifier match for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The group also includes the Netherlands, Lithuania, and Malta.

In the pre-match predictions for Finland vs. Poland, bookmakers tend to favor the visitors, who are considered one of the group’s favorites. Betting on a win for the “Snow Owls” is given odds of 3.98, a draw 3.38, and a win for the “White Eagles” 2.05. The total over 2.5 goals is offered at odds of 2.39, indicating that experts are not expecting a particularly high-scoring game. The bet on both teams to score is priced at 2.08.

Finland

After a draw away to Lithuania, Jakob Friis’ team not only complicated their fight for at least second place in the group but also exposed their weaknesses. The main issue is the unreliability of their defensive line. In the most recent UEFA Nations League campaign, where “Suomi” competed in League B, they conceded 13 goals in six matches. Among all the League B teams, only Kazakhstan conceded more.

In attack, Antman and company haven’t exactly impressed either. In that same Nations League run, they scored only two goals in six games. Therefore, it’s unlikely that this Finnish team can realistically challenge for second place.

Poland

Michal Probierz decided not to call up team captain Robert Lewandowski for the June matches, which disappointed many Polish fans. Yes, the season at Barcelona was tough, but since “Blaugrana” aren’t participating in the upcoming Club World Cup, their captain could have joined the national team.

Regardless, the coaching staff is likely exploring ways to reduce their dependence on Lewandowski. However, the attack lacks stand-out performers. For example, against Moldova, 36-year-old Kamil Grosicki from Pogon Szczecin and 28-year-old Adam Buksa from Midtjylland started but didn’t deliver anything special on the pitch.

Statistics and Head-to-Head

In the past decade, the teams have met twice in friendly matches. In 2016 and 2020, Poland won convincingly, 5–0 and 5–1 respectively.

Prediction

Although the “White Eagles” are not in their best form, the “Snow Owls” have also looked weak over the past couple of years. With the current squad, Finland is unlikely to seriously contend for a World Cup spot. For the “White and Reds,” this is one of the key matches in the qualifiers, so we predict a win for Poland at odds of 2.05.
