Fikri/Daniel reach Asian Championships quarterfinals after defeating Korean seeds

According to Bolasport.com, Indonesian men’s doubles pair Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin have advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2025 Asian Championships taking place at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center, China.

The young Indonesian duo — displaying strong determination — defeated South Korean representatives Kim Won-ho/Seo Seung-jae with scores of 18-21, 21-17, 21-15 in the round of 16.

In the opening game, Kim/Seo took immediate control by leading 14-11 after the interval. Though Fikri/Daniel managed to close the gap to 12-14, the Korean pair widened their advantage to 17-12 — capitalizing on their opponents’ weak returns that failed to cross the net.
