Prediksi Feyenoord vs Fenerbahce di Liga Champions UEFA (07.08.2025)

In the early hours of Wednesday, August 6 at 21:00 CET, at De Kuip Stadium in Rotterdam, the home club Feyenoord will host Fenerbahce Istanbul in the third qualifying round of the 2025-2026 UEFA Champions League. The Dutch side reached this stage as the bronze medalists of the 2024-2025 Eredivisie. Meanwhile, the Istanbul representatives come in as runners-up of the Turkish top flight.

In the Feyenoord – Fenerbahce clash, bookmakers give a slight edge to the hosts in the first leg, but experts believe the Turkish team has better chances of progressing. A win for the “Pride of the South” in the first game is priced at 2.04, and to qualify – at 2.04. For the “yellow-dark blues,” the same markets offer odds of 3.20 and 1.78, respectively. A high-scoring match is expected in Rotterdam: total over 2.5 is offered at 1.58, while both teams to score is priced at 1.54.

Feyenoord

Last season Feyenoord could not break into the title race between PSV and Ajax. Now Robin van Persie is expected to fight for the gold. However, at the start of the season the coaching staff faces a tough situation. The club earned substantial sums from selling David Hancko to Atletico, Antoni Milambo to Brentford, and Igor Paixão to Marseille. Many promising new players have been brought in with the funds, but they still need to be tested in competitive mode.

Currently, the “red-white-black” are preparing for the season through a series of friendly matches. Among their strong opponents in these friendlies were Gent, Nice, Wolfsburg, and others.

Fenerbahce

After a number of controversial antics by Jose Mourinho at the end of last season, there were serious rumors that the head coach might leave Fenerbahce. However, the management still believes in the genius of the “Special One,” giving him full backing to continue. Moreover, the club made several expensive signings this summer: Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat was permanently bought from Fiorentina, English defender Archie Brown arrived from Gent, and PSG sold Slovak defender Milan Skriniar to the Turks.

Stats and Head-to-Head Record

Over the last 25 years, the teams have played five matches and have won two each. However, this history is considered to have little impact on the current balance of power.

Prediction

Both clubs are led by head coaches whose work is fascinating to watch. Both will try to surprise their opposite number. Take both teams to score at odds of 1.54.
