Ferry Paulus leaves Malut United and Persebaya’s fate to AFF

Ferry Paulus, Managing Director of PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB), has delegated the final decision to AFF regarding Malut United and Persebaya Surabaya’s participation in ASEAN Club Championship 2025/2026.

PT LIB has coordinated with 18 Liga 1 clubs — where third and fourth positions in final standings will represent Indonesia in this regional tournament.

“We have established this based on regulations and agreement from all clubs,” stated Ferry Paulus.

Persib Bandung and Dewa United, occupying first and second positions, will focus on AFC competitions.

“For first and second places, namely Persib and Dewa United, we have designated them for AFC competitions,” explained Ferry Paulus.
