Ahead of the Bahrain GP, Ferrari has introduced their first update package for the SF-25 car — focusing primarily on floor design to enhance aerodynamic performance.

This decision comes after Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton expressed concerns about the team’s pace following last weekend’s Japanese GP, where Ferrari struggled to compete with McLaren, Red Bull, and Mercedes.

The updates include several technical aspects of the car’s floor:

  • Redesigned front floor fences
  • Modified leading edge of floor body
  • Adjusted floor edge wings
  • Renewed rear expansion zone into diffuser

Other teams are also bringing updates to BahrainMcLaren introduces new front brake duct winglets, while Red Bull makes adjustments to their front wing and cooling systems.

Given the racing conditions in Bahrain, most teams are expected to open their engine cooling panels wider to prevent overheating issues during the race weekend.
