Ferrari 499P disqualified from Le Mans 24 Hours due to rear wing issues

Ferrari 499P car #50 driven by Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, and Nicklas Nielsen has been disqualified from Le Mans 24 Hours after failing post-race technical inspection.

The car that initially finished fourth — just 29.666 seconds behind the race winner — was found violating two technical regulations regarding the rear wing. Inspection revealed four missing bolts in the rear wing support and wing deflection of 52mm — far exceeding the maximum allowed 15mm.

Ferrari team acknowledged the non-compliance but insisted there was no performance advantage gained. Stewards noted that car #50 actually achieved its highest speed on lap 380 out of 387 total laps.

  • Cadillac #12 moves up to fourth position
  • Toyota #7 advances to fifth place
  • Porsche #5 moves up to sixth position
  • Cadillac #38 advances to seventh place

This decision significantly impacts the team’s World Endurance Championship prospects — now trailing 48 points behind sister car #51.
