Fenerbahce prepares captain’s armband for Hakan Calhanoglu

According to Fanatik, Fenerbahce is making strong efforts to acquire Inter Milan midfielder — Hakan Calhanoglu — with a special offer of the team captain’s armband.

The Turkish player’s transfer saga emerged during the Club World Cup earlier this year — Calhanoglu’s desire to return to his homeland created tension in Inter Milan’s dressing room.

Galatasaray previously submitted a 17 million euro offer to secure Calhanoglu’s services — but the proposal was immediately rejected by Inter Milan who are still considering their player’s future.

Now Jose Mourinho with Fenerbahce is ready to compete for Calhanoglu’s signature — offering the captain’s position as additional incentive to ensure his return to the Turkish league.
