Fashion Critic Highlights F1 Drivers’ Appearances at Movie Premiere

Renowned fashion critic Derek Guy provided an in-depth review of Formula 1 drivers’ fashion choices at the movie premiere in Times Square, New York — drawing significant attention on social media.

Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson received sharp criticism regarding his pinstriped suit which Guy claimed had issues with both fit and combination.

“A pinstripe suit with a white business shirt cries out for tie. If you don’t want to wear a tie, then you need a more casual shirt or a more casual suit,” stated Guy.

Red Bull driver Yuki Tsunoda was also highlighted for his oversized clothing, while Pierre Gasly — though rated best — still had shortcomings in jacket length and overly tight trousers.

Brad Pitt, Lewis Hamilton, and Damson Idris received praise for correctly following basic formal wear principles. The film, directed by Joseph Kosinski, will be released globally on June 25.
