Family reasons push Edo Febriansah to leave Persib for Dewa United

Dewa United once again demonstrates their financial dominance in the Liga 1 2025/26 transfer market — this time by recruiting two key players from Persib Bandung.

The team nicknamed Banten Warrior already boasts quality players like Alexis Messidoro, Hugo Gomes, Egy Maulana Vikri, Ricky Kambuaya, and Taisei Marukawa. Under Jan Olde Riekerink’s guidance, they finished as runners-up in Liga 1 last season.

In their latest transfer moves, Dewa United has successfully acquired two Persib players — Nick Kuipers and Edo Febriansah. Kuipers, the Dutch defender who has represented Maung Bandung since 2019, while Febriansah leaves Persib after two seasons that yielded two Liga 1 titles.
