Fakhri Husaini Appreciates Nova Arianto after U-17 World Cup Qualification

Fakhri Husaini, former Indonesian youth national team coach, has expressed his appreciation for Nova Arianto who successfully led the Indonesia U-17 national team to qualify for the 2025 U-17 World Cup.

Indonesia U-17 national team secured their ticket to Qatar — following a convincing 4-1 victory over Yemen in Group C of the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium, Jeddah.

This achievement marks a significant milestone for Nova Arianto as the current U-17 head coach — as his team advanced to the Asian Cup quarter-finals while securing World Cup qualification.

Fakhri Husaini, the 59-year-old coach from Aceh who previously managed Indonesia’s U-14, U-16, and U-19 teams — is known for providing constructive criticism to PSSI, including his views on the naturalization program.
