F0rsaken Warns of Gen.G Threat at Valorant EWC 2025

Paper Rex’s Jason “f0rsaken” Susanto has called Gen.G as one to watch, despite their Group B struggles at Valorant EWC 2025.

The Singaporean giant has secured their playoff spot at Valorant EWC 2025 after decisive wins against Karmine Corp and BiliBili Gaming. Meanwhile, Gen.G, also in Group B, faces a tough battle for playoff qualification following their loss to Fnatic earlier today.

Despite Gen.G’s current challenges, competitors believe the Korean team remains a serious threat should they advance. And f0rsaken acknowledges Gen.G’s strength and potential to disrupt opponents if they make it to the playoffs.

“I would say it’s still going to be Gen.G. They are really good. They’re the best team in Pacific. It’s really hard to beat them, but we’ll try if we meet them.”

His caution is well-founded: PRX has historically struggled against Gen.G in crucial matches. The South Korean squad is also renowned for their mental resilience and becomes nearly unstoppable when facing same opponents twice.
