Evan Dimas switches career to become football school coach in Tulungagung

Evan Dimas – former Indonesian national team player – now takes a new path as a coach at Saraswati Nuswantara Football School (SSB) in Tulungagung, East Java.

This decision has sparked various reactions on social media – many expressing concern about the 30-year-old player’s choice to step away from active football.

Circulating videos show Evan Dimas appearing noticeably thinner – adding to the concerns of domestic football fans.

“I’ve seen news circulating saying Evan Dimas has distanced himself from football. But in reality, he remains close to football,” states Sofie Imam Faizal, Indonesian national team’s assistant physical coach who appreciates the former U-19 national team captain’s new direction.
