Ernando Ari is facing a tough period in his career — both at the club level and with the Indonesia national football team.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper has slipped to third choice for the national team behind Maarten Paes and Emil Audero, while his performances for Persebaya Surabaya have also declined.

Although he remains Paul Munster’s first choice at Persebaya, Ernando Ari has committed three critical errors that cost his team key points:

• Two blunders occurred from failing to handle crosses
