Erling Haaland scores 300th goal as Man City defeat Juventus

Erling Haaland achieved an extraordinary milestone by scoring his 300th career goal as Manchester City defeated Juventus 5-2 in their FIFA Club World Cup Group G match in Orlando.

The 24-year-old striker — entered as a substitute in the second half replacing Omar Marmoush. It took just seven minutes and three touches for Haaland to find the back of Juventus’ net from close range, extending the score to 3-1.

This goal marked Haaland’s 123rd for City in 145 appearances. The achievement of 300 goals in 370 matches sets a historic record — surpassing world-class players like Cristiano Ronaldo (554 matches), Lionel Messi (418 matches), and Kylian Mbappé (409 matches).

Manchester City’s commanding victory secured their position as Group G winners — they will face the Group H runners-up, currently led by Real Madrid ahead of RB Salzburg, in the round of 16.
