Erik ten Hag Officially Joins Bayer Leverkusen

After parting ways with Manchester United at the end of last year, Erik ten Hag has finally decided on his next career move — the Dutch manager has chosen to join Bayer Leverkusen.

This decision comes amid strong speculation about a potential return to Ajax Amsterdam — the club he led to significant success between 2017 and 2022.

The opportunity to return to Ajax opened up after Francesco Farioli stepped down as head coach, following the club’s failure to win the Dutch League title this season.

Although Ajax Amsterdam showed clear interest in bringing Ten Hag back, the 55-year-old coach opted for a new challenge in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen.
