Erick Thohir speaks up after Women’s National Team victory over Kyrgyzstan

PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir has responded following Indonesia Women’s National Team’s victory over Kyrgyzstan in the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualification match held at Sport Centre Kelapa Dua Stadium, Tangerang.

The Garuda Pertiwi squad, strengthened by several naturalized players — managed to secure a narrow 1-0 victory through a lone goal from Isa Warps.

Coach Satoru Mochizuki‘s team, which is drawn in Group D alongside Taiwan, Kyrgyzstan, and Pakistan, features several naturalized players:
