Erick Thohir reveals Indonesia All-Stars player criteria for 2025 President’s Cup

According to a press conference at Danareksa Tower Jakarta, PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir announced the selection criteria for the Indonesia All-Stars squad that will compete in the 2025 President’s Cup.

This prestigious tournament will be held from July 6-12 with a new format featuring six participating teams:

• Persib Bandung
• Dewa United
• Arema FC
• Port FC
• Oxford United
• Indonesia All-Stars

2025 President’s Cup Steering Committee Chairman Maruarar Sirait — who attended the press conference — explained that the Indonesia All-Stars squad will feature a combination of national team players from various age groups.

Erick Thohir emphasized that players selected for Indonesia All-Stars must have national team experience, either senior or age-group — with the condition that they do not come from clubs already registered as tournament participants.
