Erick Thohir reveals Indonesia All-Star player criteria for President’s Cup

According to Bolasport.com, Erick Thohir as PSSI Chairman revealed details of the Indonesia All-Star squad that will compete in the 2025 President’s Cup during today’s press conference.

This first pre-season tournament under President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership — will begin in three weeks on July 6.

PSSI has established several criteria for player selection, including:

• No players from five participating clubs: Arema FC, Persib Bandung, Dewa United, Oxford United, and Port FC
• No involvement of Indonesia U-23 national team players coached by Gerald Vanenburg due to concurrent ASEAN Cup U-23 2025

A voting system will be the primary method in determining the All-Star squad that will compete in this prestigious tournament.
