Erick Thohir closes Andre Rosiade Cup and hopes for annual event

Erick Thohir — PSSI Chairman closed the Andre Rosiade Cup youth football tournament held at ASIOP Training Ground Bogor, West Java.

In his remarks, Erick Thohir emphasized the importance of tournament consistency — this is considered crucial for developing young Indonesian football talents.

“I hope this championship won’t be a one-time event from Mr. Andre. I hope it can be held multiple times, at least annually,” said Thohir.

Erick Thohir appreciated Andre Rosiade’s initiative and encouraged football enthusiasts in other regions to follow similar steps.

“This proves that football care isn’t born from PSSI alone. When all individuals help like Mr. Andre, it’s extraordinary. This way, grassroots development becomes easier than PSSI working alone.”
