Erick Thohir announces new format for 2025 President’s Cup

PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir announced the confirmation of the 2025 President’s Cup during a press conference at Danareksa Tower, Jakarta.

“This is one of the most anticipated events in national football — the President’s Cup that has been running since 2015,” stated Erick Thohir.

The tournament, which has been running for a decade, will feature a new format.

• Invitations for previous President’s Cup winners
• Participation of international clubs

“This year we are trying a different formula by inviting international clubs — this is to help develop our national team players’ quality,” explained Erick Thohir.
