Eric Garcia Slams Referee After UCL Exit vs Inter

Eric Garcia strongly criticized referee Szymon Marciniak following Barcelona’s dramatic Champions League exit after a 3-4 loss to Inter Milan in the second leg of the semifinal at San Siro. The result saw Hansi Flick’s team eliminated with a 6-7 aggregate score.

The intense match went into extra time and was marked by controversial refereeing decisions. Marciniak awarded Inter Milan a penalty after Lautaro Martinez was fouled by Pau Cubarsi, but several incidents involving Barcelona went unpunished.

“Damn, I don’t know what’s wrong with this stadium (San Siro), we had three bad moments. Something always happens to us for one reason or another,” said Garcia after the match.
