Eric Garcia Slams Referee After Barcelona Exit UCL

Barcelona were forced to concede defeat to Inter in the Champions League semi-final at San Siro. Hansi Flick’s side lost 3–4 after extra time — ending the tie with a 6–7 aggregate in Inter’s favor.

Barcelona defender Eric Garcia harshly criticized referee Szymon Marciniak, accusing him of inconsistent decision-making. One of the most controversial moments was the penalty awarded to Inter after Lautaro Martinez was brought down by Pau Cubarsi.

“Damn, I don’t know what’s wrong with this stadium (San Siro). We had three bad moments. Something always happens to us, one way or another,” said Garcia.
