Emil Audero returns to hometown in Lombok after national team debut

Emil Audero — the Indonesian national team goalkeeper who recently made his debut with the Garuda Squad — is currently spending his holiday break by returning to his hometown in Lombok.

The Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara-born keeper marked his first appearance for the national team in a match against China — which ended in a 1-0 victory for Indonesia at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

In his second match, Audero faced a tough challenge against Japan in Osaka — where the national team suffered a heavy 0-6 defeat in their final Group C World Cup 2026 qualification match.

Currently, the former Juventus goalkeeper is choosing to spend his break by visiting Central Lombok District — returning to his native land after completing his duties with the national team.
