Emil Audero earned his debut cap for the Indonesian national team in a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Bahrain at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta.

Indonesia’s winning goal was scored by Ole Romeny in a tense and highly competitive match. However, the victory came with a setback, as two key players received suspensions due to yellow card accumulation.

Suspended Players for the Next Match:

  • Maarten Paes – received a 72nd-minute yellow card, adding to his previous booking from the earlier match against Bahrain.

  • Marselino Ferdinan – also ruled out after accumulating multiple yellow cards.

While Audero’s debut adds depth to Indonesia’s squad, the absence of Paes and Ferdinan in the next fixture presents a challenge for coach Shin Tae-yong as he looks to maintain momentum in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
