Emil Audero Mulyadi faces contrasting situations between success with Indonesia national team and uncertainty at his new club — Como 1907.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper made an impressive debut for the Garuda during June international break — showing excellent performance in a 1-0 victory against China in Jakarta. His solid display prompted coach Patrick Kluivert to trust him again against Japan, displacing Maarten Paes to the bench.

Despite keeping a clean sheet against China and limiting the defeat against Japan — his club situation appears different. After serving as Yann Sommer’s backup at Inter Milan last season, Audero now joins Como 1907 where coach Cesc Fabregas initially positioned him as the first choice for the 2025/26 Serie A season.
