Emil Audero and Como 1907 to be first team at new Camp Nou

According to The Athletic, Emil Audero Mulyadi and Como 1907 will make history as the first team to play at the newly renovated Camp Nou.

Barcelona’s flagship stadium with a capacity of 105,000 spectators — has faced completion delays from the initial November 2024 schedule. Club president Joan Laporta now targets the venue to be ready for the 2025-2026 season.

Joan Gamper Trophy has been chosen as the test event for this new stadium. Como 1907 — the Serie B Italian club owned by Hartono brothers — has been appointed as the visiting team for this pre-season match.

The selection of Como 1907 is not without reason. The club is currently coached by La Masia product Cesc Fabregas and features former Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto — making them an ideal choice for this historic match.
