The centre-back admitted that he used to be active on Twitter, especially before matches. However, he backed off once the platform became flooded with harsh criticism directed at him.

Elkan Baggott‘s absence from recent Indonesia national team call-ups has sparked speculation, including rumors about a strained relationship with head coach Shin Tae-yong.

Previously, the towering defender was a regular starter under Shin Tae-yong in central defense and had performed well before being left out of the squad.
