Elisa Zanette, the Italian volleyball star set to replace Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi at Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks, has confirmed her excitement and readiness for the upcoming 2025–2026 Korean V-League season, as reported by Naver.com.

A New Chapter after Italian League Career

The 29-year-old athlete will take over the opposite hitter position previously held by the Indonesian standout from Jember. This marks a new international chapter in Zanette’s professional journey after spending over a decade in Italy.

First Overseas Experience

Since making her professional debut in 2011, Zanette has played exclusively in Italian domestic leagues. Her move to South Korea represents her first-ever overseas venture in professional volleyball.
