Elisa Zanette — an Italian volleyball player who will replace Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi at Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks — has expressed her readiness to compete in the Korean V-League for the 2025-2026 season, according to Naver.com.

The 29-year-old opposite hitter will fill the position previously held by the player from Jember — marking a new challenge after a long career in the Italian League.

Since her professional debut in 2011, Elisa Zanette has only competed in domestic leagues. This move to South Korea will be her first experience playing in an international league.

“I am very excited to be part of the V-League and can’t wait for the 2025-2026 season,” Zanette said.
