Eliano Reijnders Withdraws from Indonesia Squad vs China

According to Bolasport.com, Eliano Reijnders has officially withdrawn from the Indonesia national football team ahead of the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers (AFC Zone).

Indonesia head coach Patrick Kluivert confirmed that the PEC Zwolle midfielder will not join the training camp in Bali, choosing instead to stay with his wife, who is expecting to give birth soon.

The decision was mutually agreed upon by the player, PSSI, and the coaching staff, with Reijnders opting to prioritize his family during the birth of his first child.

Previously, Kluivert had called up 32 players for the training camp, with several overseas-based players still expected to arrive. Indonesia will face a crucial match against China on June 5.
