Éderson confirms commitment to stay at Manchester City

Goalkeeper Éderson Moraes has affirmed his commitment to Manchester City — dismissing speculation about a potential move to the Saudi Pro League.

“My head is here and stays with City,” stated the 31-year-old keeper. “The club gives me everything to return to the Premier League and try to win the Champions League again.”

While Al Nassr showed interest last season, Pep Guardiola revealed that City never received an adequate offer. Regarding transfer rumors, Éderson stated:

“99% is fake news. I understand media needs news to get likes on social media, but there’s a lot of fake news around my name.”

Currently, City has three goalkeepers in their Club World Cup squad — Éderson, Stefan Ortega, and Marcus Bettinelli. Ortega, whose contract expires next year, remains reluctant to discuss his future, while Bettinelli has just signed a one-year deal after joining from Chelsea.
