Early career story of Nabil Anane: Professional debut at 11 with 1,000 baht purse

According to Onefc.com, Nabil Anane — ONE Championship interim bantamweight Muay Thai champion — shares an interesting story about his early career as a professional fighter.

The Thai-Algerian fighter claimed the interim title after defeating Nico Carrillo last January — but his journey began from very humble beginnings.

Anane started his professional career at age 11 by facing a 15-year-old fighter who already had 20 fights under his belt.

“He kicked my legs repeatedly and the next day my legs were really sore,” Anane recalls about his debut fight.

Despite facing a more experienced opponent, the young fighter managed to secure victory and received his first purse of 1,000 baht.
